Participants will learn advanced drawing techniques. Artist and SUNY Delhi professor Rhonda Harrow-Engel will help participants further develop their basic drawing skills. This workshop is appropriate for advanced level students, with some experience in drawing and design.

Plein Air Painting
with Robert Schneider

Participants will learn to paint the landscape au plain aire style. Renowned landscape painter (and Stamford Village Mayor) Robert Schneider will highlight massing, light and shadow, color, values, and capturing the illusion of depth in your paintings. This workshop is appropriate for all levels, from beginner to accomplished artist.
*Workshop participants will meet at MURAL on Main Gallery, but will venture outside for most of the day. Raindate: Saturday, May 18, 2019.

Participants will utilize materials donated by the family of Brenda Vincentz-Smith to explore creativity and create "something out of nothing!" Artist, educator, and naturalist David Turan will support participants in exploring new materials and new ways of using familiar materials to create their own masterpieces. Additional collage materials welcome!
