Opening Reception and Awards

MURAL has hosted an Annual Student Art Show for over 30 years. 

 

In 2019, our Student Art Show features amazing artwork, in a variety of mediums, from students in grades 9-12, attending Stamford, Gilboa-Conesville, Jefferson, and South Kortright Central Schools.

 

Judging for this year's Student Art Show is provided by regional art teachers Jill Karen Accordino and Lee Sperling.

New for 2019- YOU can be a Student Art Show Judge!!! Ballot boxes are in the gallery and visitors may cast one vote for their choice for best artwork in each category.

Please join us for an Opening Reception to honor the young artists of our region on Saturday, March 30, from 2-4 pm.

The Opening Reception is free and open to the public. Award ribbons from the judges will be hung and you can cast your vote for the 'People's Choice Award.'  'People's Choice' Award Winners are listed HERE.​

Refreshments will be provided courtesy of South Kortright Central School students and MURAL.
